Campaign 2011-2012
We are all fortunate to have our children educated in the Fremont Union High School District. While many California school districts are cutting programs, our District has been able to maintain AP classes, clubs, art, music, athletics, social events, and much more. We are asking parents
to directly support your high school through a contribution to the
Fremont Union High Schools Foundation.
Our District ranks third in the state in academic achievement, yet it
ranks 50th (out of 80) in funding per student. All District employees
are dedicated to having our students achieve their full potential and
spend each dollar carefully. Because you value your student's
educational experience, we ask every District family to contribute
$400 per student to support your high school. Money raised from
local contributions is especially useful to meet locally determined
needs, free of government restrictions.
The Foundation is currently funding SCHOOL LOOP which facilitates collaboration among students, teachers and parents by providing online access to assignments, grades and classroom materials. We also fund NAVIANCE, the online guidance tool that helps students and parents explore post-high school college and career options that match students' talents and interests and provides a free sample SAT to every student. We also support the ROBOTICS program, ENGINEERING curriculum, and the VISUAL and PERFORMING ARTS departments. Your support
of the Foundation makes all of this possible. And when taxes are due, your contributions are deductible because of the Foundation's status as an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization (ID 94-2907804).
Your contribution, in any amount, will help maintain the high quality school experience we all value.
